Eric Prydz – Liberate (Pryda Recordings)
Eric Prydz king of house music, revered for his devotion to his own sound and non-conforming way. With his new song “Liberate” fits that bill, but it isn’t going to be a dance floor killer. Think more like background music to hanging at the beach, drinking fruity mixed drinks or the music girls sunbathing on yachts would listen to. This makes it the perfect release for chill-out music right before WMC. Its lack of huge synth-y bass drops is a nice change from most of the music out now. Instead it incorporates beautiful melodies and a soothing vocal to make it a serene peaceful track. It’s peppy and happy all while artful.
