Tiësto Taken To Hospital During Show in California
There was a scary incident last night during Tiësto‘s liveset in San Jose, California. The Dutchman, who is reputed for being above average height, hit his head on a low-hanging LED screen. He reportedly suffered a bad cut on his head, and also a mild concussion. The injuries are far from life-threatening, and Tiësto is expected to make a full recovery. Unfortunately for his fans, doctors have advised him to take a few days off for rest and to prevent any complications from occurring. Tiësto quickly took to both Twitter and Facebook to explain his condition, thank both his friends and colleagues for their concern and support.
I had an accident and got a concussion at last night's show. Dr's told me to rest so no show tonight. Thanks for your concern and support!

Of course, this is not the first time that LED screen panels have caused injuries at a dance music event. During the set up for last year’s Ultra Music Festival, four workers were wounded when a panel being set up for the special Swedish House Mafia final show collapsed and fell. All four survived their injuries.
