Jaceo, Vedic – Big Pun EP [Formatik]
Coming out of Format:B’s label Formatik is a new tech house EP from Jaceo and Vedic. Making headlines recently for a collaboration with Pleasurekraft, these two have sculpted two excellent tracks worthy of your ears. Combining massive kick drums with samples and tech synths, Big Pun drives forward with energy and zeal. The breakdowns are massive, and the drum beat powers through your speakers. Very percussion focused in a very minimal sense, Big Pun is well produced and once again, the kick is top notch. I.A.D. is very similar and shows off Jaceo and Vedic’s ability to use synth in an almost percussive fashion. The bass-line is more prominent in this track and adds a lot to the rhythm and groove. A great EP, and worth the listen. Check it out.
