Ummet Ozcan – Raise Your Hands Up [March 31 – Spinnin’ Records]
EDIT: We guessed right! This tune has come from Ummet Ozcan, and will be released on March 31.
Another day, another ID, here in the dance music industry. “Raise Your Hands Up” was debuted on the most recent episode of Hardwell On Air, towards the end of the show. Per usual, I’ve got some guesses as to who the real artists are, but I plan to leave my thoughts until the end.
The melody gets underway with a leave that sounds like a heavily distorted guitar, but soon graduates into a more full-bodied sound. After the first melody finishes, the track is quiet for a while. However soon, a different lead synth introduces a secondary melody. This melody comes to a close, and the buildup gets underway with the addition of the “Raise Your Hands Up” vocal sample, from which the song derived its name. Another sample of place right before the drop (a heavily distorted 1, 2, 3, JUMP! from Zedd‘s “Shotgun”), and soon we hit the heavy stuff. That second melody has been put on top of a FAT bass kick, and the result is quite splendid.
Sounds to me like this is a creation from Showtek and Ummet Ozcan, but only time will tell. Enjoy!
