Above & Beyond – Hello [Anjunabeats]

You see the title on this post, and think, “FINALLY! Here comes my trance fix!”… well, you’re unfortunately mistaken. The latest from Above & Beyond really sounds more like electro house than trance, but the change of pace is definitely welcome. “Hello” adopts a synth that made its jump to fame on the backs of a electro house artists, but this trance trio definitely does the sound justice. Still, if you’re only here for trance, then just be patient until the melody in the break. There, you get your full fix of the classic Above & Beyond masterful melody work. The second drop has a completely different sound altogether, but it caps off what is a fantastic track from the British trio. “Hello” is available for download now on Beatport, through their Anjunabeats label.
