D-Rashid – Famous EP [Mixmash Records]

Dutchman D-Rashid has been working on his status as producer for quite some years now and steadily keeps on growing. He had releases on a various amount of labels, like Mixmash, Big Boss, Newlight, 4Kenzo and many more. In these years he showed that he isn’t just one of the Latin kings; he’s also a very capable producer when it comes to Electro House. Of course his tracks do always have the Latin vibe and feeling, which adds something special to the them. Now he’s back with a huge release on Mixmash Records, the ‘Famous EP’, which got released today.

We were invited for the releaseparty yesterday and D-Rashid showed once again why the tracks in the EP were so big. He dropped them in his set and the crowd went bananas. We’ll start with the leadsingle, ‘Famous’. It kicks off strong with a very melodic buildup, that has a very catchy tune. It builds up perfectly towards the climax, that is full with heavy power. It has a very strong bassline and gets supported by huge bleepy tunes. ‘Check This Out’ is a good fitting bonustrack, because it also booms from the first second and has some serious power in the climax. This release is worth a buy without a single doubt!
