TST & twoloud – Drop It Like This [March 17 – Musical Freedom Records]

It would appear as though Tiësto is hiding under his TST alias once again, as he unites in the studio with twoloud for another contribution to the Musical Freedom label. Their track “Drop It Like This,” as debuted by Tiësto during his appearance on Pete Tong‘s Essential Selection show on December 30, 2013, has a more relaxed vibe from the hardcore electro sound that both Tiësto and twoloud have stood for in recent memory.

One thing is for sure: these two definitely know how to create a melody. That is certainly a strong point in this tune, but that shouldn’t be interpreted as a dig on the drop. The drop features a groovy house vibe to it, rather than a blasting big-room sound that has become the norm for both artists. The sound is similar to one that you would hear from Tujamo, who is well-known for hits like “WHO”. Nonetheless, “Drop It Like This” will hear tremendous support from all over the dance music community.

This big collaboration between Tiësto and twoloud will drop on March 17. Until then, enjoy the preview!
