Qulinez ft. Cara Salimando – Rising Like The Sun [March 10 – Spinnin’ Records]

Most recently, we have been able to rely on Swedish duo Qulinez to put out formidable electro house bangers. Singles like “Troll” have been favorites among electro DJs for a few years now, but now we see a lighter side from Alexander and Johannes. They have teamed up with American vocalist Cara Salimando for a fresh progressive house cut, titled “Rising Like The Sun”. Holland’s biggest dance music label, Spinnin’ Records, has signed the track with plans to release it on March 10. The break begins with a mellow set of piano chords, and very quickly, the vocals from Cara Salimando take over the top line. As she gets into the bridge, some deep percussion is added to create a more energetic vibe. The chorus gets under way, and if you listen closely, you can hear the main chords added subtly in the background by Qulinez. The title words of the track are sung over a short buildup, and soon we get right into the drop. A sweet sounding progressive lead placed over the traditional Qulinez grinding bassline creates a sound that I could listen to forever.
