Sean&Bobo – Viking [SB Records]

These two have struck again, and the sound keeps getting better. Easily one of Sweden’s best kept secrets, Sean&Bobo have returned with their latest big-room original, titled “Viking”. The track has an orchestral feel to it, but when it comes to the drop, you know what you’re going to get. A heavy dose of sub-bass goes well with a screaming lead, right after the “I’M A F-CKING VIKING” sample. But the track isn’t all about the bass. The lead changes just about every 4-8 bars during the drop, keeping listeners on their toes throughout. Plus, the melody on “Viking” is arguably the best melody these two have ever produced. I’ve wrote that about these guys a lot actually, but they have been so dedicated to improving that their sound that each new track is leaps & bounds better than the last.
