Jack&Jordan – Throne [February 10 – Megaton Records]
One of the easiest ways to become a king in big-room is to get your own “Throne”. Okay, fine, that joke was horrible, but you get the idea. Big-room has the possibility to become monotonous, but Jack&Jordan have found a way to keep the sound fresh in their latest original, titled “Throne”. Their release marks the second original of the year for Megaton Records, as they continue to reap the success from “Raise Up Lights” by Bass Kleph.
The break has a mysterious vibe to it from the start, made up of a heavily filtered guitar sound. It only builds from there, as the filter disappears, and the chords spring to life. The real build up begins after 45 seconds, as the lead goes back into a filtered obscurity, and is replaced by snares. Right as the drop appears evident, a vocal sample screams “Don’t you know what’s about to happen?” Well, you do know, right? A huge bass kick is paired with a powerful distorted lead to create a drop that certainly gives Jack&Jordan the big-room “Throne,” if not just for a few days.
This new banger from Jack&Jordan will be out on February 10 via Megaton Records. Until then, enjoy this teaser!
