Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano & Ariyan – Circus [February 24 – Musical Freedom Records]
In this modern world, it has been proven time and time again that no collaboration is impossible. We’ve seen Dutchmen collaborate with Americans, and now we see a collaboration between a Canadian and two Dutchmen. For this new tune on Musical Freedom, house mainstays Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano got together with Ariyan on a song called “Circus”. The introductory fanfare for this track has been incredible, with support already pouring in from Hardwell, Nicky Romero, and more.
Right from the start, it is obvious that this will be one of the more unique songs we hear in 2014. The melody is made up entirely of strings and percussion, leaving behind the “cookie-cutter” system of creating big-room tracks. The last couple of bars of the orchestral section become looped, as the funky vibe that Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano are known for comes to the forefront. After a chopped up vocal sample, we get into the drop. The kick isn’t too heavy, but fits together with the intricately placed snare drums perfectly. Add a constantly pitch bending riser on top, and you got the perfect club fuel to get any venue rocking.
“Circus” will drop via Musical Freedom on February 24. Hearing a new track from Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano will always make your day better, plus I’m looking forward to watching Ariyan‘s career grow. Enjoy the teaser!
