Format:B – Magic Button (Wehbba Remix) [Formatik]

A little while ago, I reviewed a new Format:B track titled Magic Button. Now, in standard fashion, a remix of the track has been released. While remixes can tend to be a bit iffy in terms of quality and motivation for a producer to do well as a lot of it has to do with contracts, Wehbba’s version of Magic Button is actually a terrific rendition of the original and adds an incredible pumping tech-house sound to an already great track.

The standout of the track is really the bass-line. Almost JAWS-like, it blasts through your speakers with power, all while adding a unique dance-ability to the track. The homage to Format:B’s percussion instruments was also quite well done and allows it to keep its original feel. Standout track, definitely deserving of your ears.
