twoloud vs. Julian Jordan – Rockin’ [February 14 – Spinnin’ Records]
Now, this collaboration feels like a match made in heaven. Mysterious group twoloud has joined forces with one of the most promising names in Dutch house music, Julian Jordan on “Rockin'”. The name twoloud has been all over lately, as they have been behind hits like “Big Bang” and have a remix for NERVO upcoming in the next few weeks. Julian Jordan burst onto the scene with “Rock Steady,” and has continued his success with a strong wave of collaborations with TV Noise, Martin Garrix, and Sander van Doorn. “Rockin'” is due out on Valentine’s Day (February 14) via Spinnin’ Records.
The track gets off to a crazy start thanks to the melody, which really turns up the power quickly. The melody is paired hand-in-hand with an equally powerful bassline. As “Rockin'” builds up, a sample saying “the beat keep rockin'” is weaved in, and you can figure out how the song got its name. The drop that follows is a perfect example of fusion. The style of basskick used well by twoloud blends perfectly with Julian Jordan‘s prowess for screaming electro synths. Take a listen, you’ll hear it.
“Rockin'” is due out on February 14. Until then, enjoy!
