Alan Fitzpatrick – The Tetra [Drumcode]
The Tetra is a melodically creative group of three techno tracks that combines aspects of dance and electronica to great effect. Shifting from style to style, Fitzpatrick uses driving drum beats and varied synths to give each track a different energy and feeling. The namesake track is melodic and mellow, with arpeggiating synths making the track uplifting and fun. “We Are Forever Young” is much darker, but the synths mixed down in the track give it an incredible groove. “1992” has a retro vibe that is superbly done. It’s light, but danceable and is perfect as a late-night track to drop.
