Feri & Multi – XNOR [Big Fish Recordings]
Need some big room electro to gear yourself up for the weekend after new years? Take a listen to the new track XNOR by Feri & Multi, relative newcomers to the scene.
There really exists two different sides to this track. On one hand, it’s very much “rage-worthy” with its layered synths, heavy doses of reverb, and massive kick underneath it all. It goes from melodic progressive build, to jump-in-the air drop almost instantly keeping things interesting at a party or live event. In this sense, it’s a great track that will give your weekend the kick it needs to continue that new years partying you’ve had to put off for a day or two now. On the other hand, it’s relatively unimaginative. The synths aren’t too unique, the melody isn’t too interesting, and all-in-all you have definitely heard something like this track somewhere, at some point. That being said, those who enjoy this music will definitely get a kick out of it. If you’re on the edge, give it a listen because why not? Can’t hurt to give your subwoofer a little exercise.
