NERVO & Ivan Gough ft. Beverley Knight – Not Taking This No More (twoloud Remix) [January 20 – SPRS]

Wow… this remix package is getting powerful. Now joining MAKJ on the remix package for “Not Taking This No More” is new sensation, twoloud. These guys took the dance music scene by storm by dropping “Big Bang” through Musical Freedom, and now they take on this hit from NERVO and Ivan Gough. twoloud are just about as secretive as you can be in the music industry. They list their current location on Facebook as the “Moon” that is just about all the information they have in the public domain. We will learn quickly about these guys through their music, just the way it should be.

The preview begins in a very mellow section, which gives away no hints about what is in store. Beverley Knight‘s powerful vocals then come to the forefront, as a simple synth and clap track sets the tone in the background. As she finishes belting out the chorus one last time, the track builds towards the impending destruction that this drop almost guaranteed will bring. This snare rolls become closer and closer, and the vocals become pitch bent higher and higher. One last vocal rift from Knight is then broken down, and we suddenly find ourselves in the midst of another crazy and heavy twoloud drop.
