Justin Prime & Joey Dale – POING! [December 10 – Dim Mak Records]

Dim Mak Records has struck again, this time bringing in Justin Prime, the man ½ responsible for the hit “Cannonball,” together with fellow Dutchman Joey Dale for a big new collaboration, known as “POING!”. With big-room house being all the rage, this track fits into any trendsetter’s playlist, and we won’t be surprised to hear it being played worldwide in just a few days.

You can hear the influence that Mr. Cannonball, Justin Prime, has on the overall sound of the track. The melody does go in a different direction, and allows Justin and Joey to create a unique sound for themselves. The melody in this track is just as strong and powerful as the drop, which has proven to be a rarity in big-room. After a little freestyle percussion and a “JUMP!” sample, we find ourselves hurled head first into a banging big-room drop, consisting of the essential kick and pluck sequence.
