Cedric Gervais & CID – Never Come Close [December 13 – Spinnin Records]

After his super popular remixes to Lana Del Rey‘s songs, Cedric Gervais is finally back with an original. He enlists the help of CID, who has already had many big releases this year. Cedric Gervais is really known for his very progressive sound, and CID for his harder hitting electro style. Two different styles of music combine to make a new sound.

Big room is something we have yet to see from these producers, but “Never Come Close” is just that. The buildup is very intense, but the melody and drop are where the song is amazing. The melody is really progressive and calm, where the drop is pretty crazy. Although big room is becoming very popular, it’s still great to see it executed well.
