Congorock & Nom De Strip – Minerals [Ultra Records]

The collaboration between Congorock & Nom De Strip is finally here. “Minerals” is an amazing collaboration in which both producers sounds are equally present throughout the entire song. “Minerals” is really gritty, which is an element evident in both producers styles.

“Minerals” is interesting for the bass kicks during the drop. We’re used to the standard 4 per measure, but this one has an extra kick between the 4th and 5th kicks. I’ve never heard this before in another song. The melody is really cool as well. It features awesome drums, but the buildup is definitely where the song picks up. It’s a pretty long buildup, but it gets you excited.
