Audien feat. Ruby Prophet – Circles [December 2 – Zouk Recordings]

When I see the name Audien on a track, I’m always excited. He has proven to be incredibly dedicated to his work, and comes back to the Armada Music sublabel, Zouk Recordings, with yet another solid progressive house tune, titled “Circles”. He brings in vocalist Ruby Prophet in on the track, and the result is fantastic. Even though he jumps around between the sublabels, you know that Audien has a home on Armada; the genre determines the sublabel. This follow-up to “Iris” takes a turn away from trance, but shows, once again, that Audien is more than capable of switching between genres with ease.

As the preview gets underway, the first thing that really grabs my ears has to be the vocals. Ruby Prophet‘s voice is absolutely fantastic, and quite effective in conveying the emotion that is packed inside the lyrics as she sings them. As she hits the bridge, the main melody of the track is revealed, and we soon find ourselves in the build sequence. The drop that the Connecticut native put on “Circles” absolutely blows my mind. It is full of progressive house bliss, also maintaining the fat lower line to make this a certified festival hit.

I know for sure that I will be purchasing a copy of “Circles” once the full version drops on Beatport. The date for that will be December 2, and I could not be more excited. If you’re waiting like I am, be sure to listen to this preview to hold you over until release day. But for now, enjoy!
