Dance (RED) Save Lives, Vol. 2 [November 25 – Priority Records]
What is better than buying your favorite artist’s music? Buying that very same music and knowing that ALL proceeds go to help fight AIDS. 2013 marks the second year in which Tiësto and his Musical Freedom team have paired up with (RED), a company dedicated to eradicating HIV/AIDS in Africa, to release a dance music compilation from which 100% of the proceeds go to this fight against AIDS. The album has 25 tracks that seem to spend every popular genre, and has something to entertain any dance music lover. Tiësto himself has said, “I’m thrilled that the dance community has come together to raise awareness and provide a significant contribution to the fight against AIDS. Working on DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES and helping to spread its message has been an honor and I’m very proud of the money that we have raised,”
The lead single off of this compilation, a remix by Australian Tommy Trash of Empire of the Sun‘s “Celebrate,” is already available for purchase. Just recently, American Pierce Fulton uploaded the teaser for his remix of Martin Solveig‘s hit with The Cataracs “Hey Now,” as part of the compilation. Other artists whose works appear on the album include Calvin Harris, deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Avicii, and plenty more. Check out these tracks below, and you’ll see just how powerful the tunes on this album are.
The album is available for pre-order NOW on iTunes. I urge you to consider purchasing this album, as every cent gained through that album goes straight to helping fight HIV/AIDS in Africa. If that doesn’t catch you, this album has some pretty huge tunes on it as well. Don’t forget to watch the DANCE (RED), SAVE LIVES global livestream on November 30th & December 1st from Australia’s biggest dance festival, Stereosonic in Sydney.
