Duo Merk & Kremont release their newest single on Nicky Romero‘s Protocol Recordings. “Zunami” is definitely one of the funkiest songs I’ve heard in a long time. Nicky Romero is known for supporting smaller producers, and with “Zunami” he gives Merk & Kremont the chance to show their stuff. They don’t disappoint.

“Zunami” has a really calm, relaxed melody with great chords. The buildup is intensely crazy. The drop’s are really, really, funky but have a more tech housey vibe than electro or progressive house. Nevertheless, “Zunami” is an absolute banger. It definitely shows the diversity Merk & Kremont have as producers.
