3LAU, Paris & Simo feat. Bright Lights – Escape (Remixes) [Revealed Recordings]
After an incredibly successful remix contest, Revealed Recordings has released its remix package for “Escape,” the progressive house anthem produced originally by Los Angeles-based mashup extraordinaire, 3LAU, together with Montreal-based duo, Paris & Simo. The original peaked at #3 on the Beatport Top 100 chart, and received over 125 plays from DJ colleagues. The remixes for this track were crowd sourced via a Beatport Play remix contest, and the three lucky winners were selected to be an official release EP on Revealed Recordings.
The three remixes came in from all over the world, with Flatdisk representing Italy, Manse representing Sweden, and Charity Strike representing the United States of America. Flatdisk maintained the original BPM, while giving a dubstep feel to the track. You could guess the nationality of Manse just from the sound of his remix. It’s Swedish progressive house at its finest, and he pulls it off extremely well. What’s a remix package without a big-room banger? That is provided by American Charity Strike, who combines a huge bass kick with the minimal plucking that everybody loves.
