Oliver Heldens is one of the biggest young talents coming from the Netherlands right now. The man behind huge tracks like “Stinger” and “Buzzer” teams up with Warkids, a powerful duo out of Italy who show just as much promise as Mr. Heldens. The guys decided to work together to take on Calvin Harris‘ track with vocalist Ellie Goulding, “I Need Your Love,” which has been previously remixed by Nicky Romero, Jacob Plant, and by many producers online. This track marks the first time that Warkids and Oliver Heldens have worked together, and the result is amazing.
The official vocals are used in this remix, since Calvin released the acappella file earlier in the year. The melody laid underneath the vocals is top-notch, and mesmerizes you into listening further. After the chorus finishes, the track heads straight into the buildup, which is accentuated by the beautiful melody in tandem with snare rolls and pitch bends on the vocals. With this in mind, it is no surprise that the drop takes this track to another level. It is a splendidly crafted progressive style drop, with a sound that will bring you out of any negative feels on-demand.
