Armin van Buuren Announces The Details Of His Armin Only World Tour

During the Amsterdam Dance Event, there is more than just heavy parties every night. Important parts of the ADE-week are conferences about everything that has something to do with Dance Music. Yesterday, number one dj, Armin van Buuren had his own special moment, when he announced the details of his Armin Only World Tour and it promises to be a unique experience.

The first two dates of the tour have been announced before, but now he gave details of 18 new shows around the world, such as New York, St. Petersburg, Toronto, Mexico city, Sydney, Johannesburg and many more. This will just be the first half of the program. Many more editions will follow. It will probably be the greatest worldtour ever done by any dj/producer in the Dance Scene.

The basis of the tour will be his Intense album, which he mentioned to be one of the most emotional albums he made. He worked 2 years on it and he put in everything he had. This will make his tour emotional as well, full of feelings and expressions. Armin van Buuren will show why so many voted him as current number one dj with this unique experience.

We said it before, it will be a unique experience. I can hear you think ‘Why? What is so special about a solo worldtour?’. There is an easy answer to this question: the literal musical journey. That’s also the reason that Armin van Buuren wanted this tour so bad, the word journey will play a central part in the show, that will take around 6 hours.

Even though he has his guests, Armin wants to stay in charge the whole night. Maybe he let the artists come an hour later in Amsterdam, compared to Sydney. Because of the journey, every set will be different and based on the crowd reaction. Their responses on the music and the atmosphere will play a key-part in the show and therefore you will not hear a pre-planned set by Armin van Buuren.

Besides the journey, Armin also added a lot of never seen entertainment. Trampolines, music bands on special podiums, a stage of over 22 meters wide, special light shows and many more. He does this in collaboration with two directors who have earned their spurs during the years. 250k-owner Sander Reneman already worked with him for previous big events and is known for his expertise in the production of huge and stunning stages. He will also work with world-famous and one of the leading theater producers Jos Thie.
