Tom Staar – Trident [Staar Traxx]

As a fan of Tom Staar, I was quite excited to see his recent torrid rate of producing tracks. One of the most recognizable sounds in dance music, Staar has been cranking out remixes at an incredibly fast rate, but did not neglect his solo work or his own label, Staar Traxx. After releasing the preview for “Staars” on Spinnin’ Records, Tom released his most recent solo track, titled “Trident,” which is the second release on the label (“After Dark” by Style of Eye and Staar was the first). “Trident” shows Staar’s ever-present ability to produce mesmerizing progressive house, and he does just that, with a beautiful piano melody, that leads into a blissful drop. “Trident” has nabbed the support of Danny Howard, Morgan Page, Paul Oakenfold, and now YOU.
