Kaskade Wins America’s Best DJ Award, Gold-Plated Pioneer Mixer

What’s the best part about winning an award? It has to be the shiny trophy, right? Well, we haven’t been able to ask Kaskade what his favorite part about winning the America’s Best DJ Award is, but one thing is for sure: the hardware is UNREAL. As the first two-time winner, you would think he would get some sort of fancy plaque. Well, you’d be right, sort of. He did get the fancy plaque, but something much much fancier as well. The award committee has followed the DMC World Championship route in terms of trophies, so Kaskade, along with his plaque, received his second gold-plated Pioneer DJM-900nexus to add to his trophy case, along with his 2011 award. A great prize for a great DJ; he definitely deserved it.
