Promise Land & Junior Black “Noise” Out October 21 On Doorn Records
It seems that Promise Land has struck again. The Italian duo behind tracks like “Gangster” and a remix for Swedish House Mafia‘s farewell track “Don’t You Worry Child” make their debut on Doorn Records together with 14-year-old Italian producer/DJ, Junior Black. Yeah, 14-year-old. We’ve covered Holland’s youth movement (Martin Garrix, etc), but Junior Black might just be the youngest artist we’ve ever covered. This Italian combo has received a crazy amount of support on “Noise”, including plays from Hardwell, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, and plenty more.
The teaser begins with a melody crafted from a similar synth to that used by Hard Rock Sofa in “Rasputin”. This melody reigns supreme throughout the whole song, and is the basis for the entire mellow section of the track. After a few rounds of the melody, a subtle bass kick is added underneath, right before the track heads into the buildup. The melody is cut into a smaller chunk, looped, and then combined with snare rolls and white noise. A simple percussive clap leads into a trademark Promise Land-style drop, with a unique sequence of percussion, and high-octane pitch bends that festival growers crave.
We’re definitely excited to hear more from Promise Land, and also watch the progression of Junior Black. Each is incredibly talented, as “Noise” shows. The track drops on October 21 via Doorn Records. But until then, enjoy the “Noise”!
