Dannic & Sick Individuals “Blueprint” Out October 28 On Revealed Recordings
One of the most highly awaited collaborations in all of 2013 finally has a home. Throughout the spring and summer, we were teased with pictures and videos from all over the world alluding to a collaboration from young Dutch producers Dannic and Sick Individuals. Each have had an incredible 2013, full of big tunes and high profile DJ sets all over the world. The product of their time together is “Blueprint,” a big electro track that has been signed by Dannic‘s friend and Revealed Recordings label boss Hardwell to his label.
In this day and age, collaborations between artists are easier than ever because of the Internet. However, only an hour’s drive separates our two artists’ hometowns of Breda (Dannic) and Hilversum (Sick Individuals), so they were able to get into the studio together on multiple occasions. The result is a beautiful blend in electro house stylings that will blow your ears away. The track sounds like a fusion between Dannic‘s hit “Ignite” and Sick Individuals‘ track “Spear”. Amid images of their work together in the studio, we get our first high-quality listen to “Blueprint”. Intricate percussion combined with intermittent chords precedes an incredibly high-octane melody, which is laid over powerful bass drums. A series of snares begins to build the track, and the energy begins to grow higher and higher. A very deep-voiced “Here we go” leads the track into the drop, and boy, is it BIG. A fantastic baseline accented with screaming synth arps will drive any crowd nuts, and leaves me craving more than just a short preview. However, don’t use your eyes and my description of this track; watch the video below and experience it for yourself.
Mark down October 28 on your calendar so that you don’t miss the release of “Blueprint”. It will be released on Revealed Recordings on the Beatport music store. Until then, turn up this preview!
