Michael Calfan “Falcon” Out October 21 On Protocol Recordings
Michael Calfan shows us his big-room style. The man behind one of the biggest progressive house productions ever (“Resurrection”) now runs to the other side of the house music spectrum to show his dirtier side. He continues his trend of more banging productions, as his remix for Marcus Schössow‘s “Reverie” introduced us to his newer style, and we’re definitely fans of it. He has adapted the sound from his collaboration with Fedde le Grand, “Lion (Feel The Love).”
“Falcon” recieved its first play at Tomorrowland, Belgium, during Michael Calfan‘s own set. Calfan begins the melody in his usual fashion: highly upbeat and quite finely tuned. The track continues to have the guise of a typical Calfan-progressive track, but has quite a surprise in store. The track drops into a huge big room sequence, with a massive bass kick and a energy-filled percussion track. “Falcon” marks the first big-room track to be released on Protocol Recordings, and also Calfan’s debut on the label.
Mark down October 21 in your calendar because you don’t want to miss the release of “Falcon”. For now, just enjoy the preview!
