Kryder “Pyrmd” Out October 7 On Protocol Recordings
After we covered frequent collaborator Tom Staar‘s latest tune, “Trident,” we now have the latest work from Kryder. With the light-hearted “Aphrodite” reaching as high as #4 in the Progressive House Top 100, the Brit changes his sound back to this usual bouncy electro on “Pyrmd”. This marks the first time that Kryder has signed to Protocol Recordings, and his release follows up “Prototype” from Don Diablo & CID. “Pyrmd” has seen early support from EDX, Afrojack, D.O.D., and many others.
“Pyrmd” has a slight acid feel to it, and is quite a nice change of pace from “Aphrodite”. In fact, this track is a very much necessary change of pace in an electro market dominated by the minimal/big-room sound. You can tell that Kryder has an incredible talent for production, as he spans the different genres with ease. If you’re into a heavy tune with a really well-produced acid influence, “Pyrmd” is definitely for you.
The latest from Kryder will be out on October 7 on Nicky Romero‘s Protocol Recordings. While you wait, check out the preview, and enjoy!
