Krewella – Live For The Night – Dash Berlin Remix [Columbia Records]
The trance trio from The Hague, Netherlands, Dash Berlin, has been on a remixing hot streak in recent months. After remixing Hardwell‘s hit “Apollo” and OneRepublic‘s smash “If I Lose Myself,” the trio now takes on the newest from American dance trio, Krewella, titled “Live For The Night”. The track first saw the light of day during a Dash Berlin show in St. Petersburg, Russia, and was just uploaded to their SoundCloud page. This mix is “progressive trance” at its finest, and the trio definitely does not disappoint.
The preview starts off with a beautiful mellow section, composed of guitar and other synths. Krewella‘s powerful vocals come in, and sing the chorus once through, before we are fully enveloped by the wonderful trance melody created by Dash Berlin. The chorus comes back, as percussion is added underneath the chords of melody. As the chorus echoes off into the distance, the guys treat us to a beautiful composed and constructed drop sequence, which is one of the best sounds we’ve heard so far in 2013.
No confirmed release date yet, but be sure to grab your copy of Krewella‘s latest album, “Get Wet,” when it hits stores on September 24. For now, enjoy this wonderfully uplifting preview!
