Bassjackers Preview “Zing,” Out September 23 On Protocol Recordings
Bassjackers have moved to big-room, and the result has been quite successful. After freebie, “Crackin'”, was picked up by R3hab, Mightyfools, Wayne & Woods, and more, the duo maintains that sound on “Zing,” premiered at UMF Miami, and planned to be released on Nicky Romero‘s Protocol Recordings. We last heard from the Bassjackers when they worked together with R3hab on “Raise Those Hands”.
The track samples Fatboy Slim‘s old tune “Push The Tempo,” which loops over an ever-present, grinding bassline. The sample gets looped and shorter, as the track builds up, and heads towards a huge, big-room climax. A chopped sample of “Push The Tempo” plus the “GO!” sample triggers a strong, minimal drop. This track has been heard many times in a mashup with David Guetta‘s tune “Play Hard” with Ne-Yo and Akon.
“Zing” will be out on September 23, so be sure you don’t miss out. Enjoy the preview for now!
