Landis Puts His Spin On Avicii’s “You Make Me”
Miami-based DJ/producer Landis once again showcases his strong remixing abilities as he takes on the newest single from Avicii, titled “You Make Me”. It was the second single released off of True, his first studio album, and features vocalist Salem al Fakir. Landis is well known throughout the dance music industry for his releases on Cr2 Records, Revealed Recordings, and various independent releases.
Landis maintains the original vocals and piano, and begins to influence the track once the chorus finishes. He loops the beginning of the melody, and adds percussion to build the track further. Once the track drops, he uses a strong electro sound to change up the mood of the track, and take it in a very unique direction.
