Zedd Previews “Stay The Night,” feat. Hayley Williams
What more can we say about Zedd? The German breakout star took the world by storm with his debut album, Clarity, a booming remix for Empire of The Sun‘s “Alive,”and one of dance music’s best online personalities. However, with all the success on his resume, Zedd proves he will not rest, as he has just posted the video teaser for his next track on his YouTube channel. This new tune features American vocalist, Hayley Williams, from the alternative band, Paramore.
The preview begins with a sample from the chorus over a piano melody, integrating the song’s title immediately into the actual production. The chorus repeats, as the track progresses underneath it with percussion, and the addition of electronic synths. Once the final run of the chorus finishes, the last word is looped, and begins to pitch bend towards the climax. The melody the track becomes more prominent in the background, and the snare rolls move closer together, and one more singing of “Are you gonna stay the night?” brings on a beautiful, progressive-Zedd style drop reminiscent of “Spectrum” and “Clarity”.
“Stay The Night” will be released as part of Zedd’s deluxe edition of his album, Clarity, on September 24. The album will be released through Interscope Recordings, like the original. Until then, enjoy the newest from Zedd!
