Audrio’s ‘Dreaming Wide Awake’ Out On PRMD
Swedish Audrio, who recently was taken under the wing of now legendary Avicii, has a new release out consisting of two electro/progressive tracks. I’m unsure why Beatport says PRMD because really the track is released on Avicii’s LE7ELS label. Anyways, on to the tracks:
Dreaming Wide Awake is an absolutely nuts electro track that will grind the tweeters in your speakers into dust. It’s possibly one of the more intense tracks I’ve heard in a while and it drops so hard that it’ll make any stadium dance. The vocals are definitely on the weak side, which is totally fine with me because of how well the production is on the synth line. The drums are also really tight which is a nice compliment to the sometimes, and purposefully, off-rhythmic stylings of the synths. Second on this release is the Daniel Beasley Remix which is much more chilled out. With light synths, airy breaks, and a smooth drop, Beasley’s remix compliments the original well and in a lot of situations, I could see myself preferring the much more relaxing remix.
