Lush & Simon Take On Sebastian Ingrosso & Tommy Trash’s “Reload” For Free
One of the most popular tracks of the 2012 festival season, and still popular to this point in 2013, is “Reload” by Swede Sebastian Ingrosso and Aussie Tommy Trash. First as an instrumental only, and then as a vocal release, with vocals done by none other than John Martin, the track really took off to new heights. Earlier in the summer, the artists decided to release the studio vocals from the track for use in mashups, or bootleg remixes. One of the most impressive uses of this vocal has come from Italian duo Lush & Simon.
Their most recent tune, “City Of Lights,” was featured by both Tiësto and Hardwell on their respective radioshows, so you can tell what kind of talent these two have right off the bat. Their bootleg begins with a totally revamped melody, which rivals that of the original production. Martin’s vocals come in after 32 beats, and sings over the melody until the chorus. A cascade of white noise and additional percussion underscores the chorus. As the chorus ends, the track breaks down, and the buildup begins with a filtered melody. The track builds as the melody becomes more and more prominent, and then snare rolls trigger a beautiful, progressive sound.
This take on “Reload” has been supported by names like Carnage and Bingo Players, and shows that Lush & Simon are destined for similar fame very soon. Grab your free download here, and enjoy this huge tune!
