MAKJ & M35 Premiere Their Collaboration “Revolution”, Out September 23 on Doorn Records
Our boy, MAKJ, has been on fire like no other during summer 2013. He’s released or has an upcoming track on almost every single big label in dance music, while still pumping out his famous mashups and edits. To follow up his most recent release, “Hakaka” on Michael Woods‘ Diffused Music label, the American collaborates with M35 to release “Revolution”, on Doorn Records.
The preview begins with white noise, and orchestral drums. After 15 seconds, the melody begins with a high-pitched sound like that of Steve Angello‘s collaboration with Matisse & Sadko, “SLVR”. After the melody finishes, a grinding snare roll singles the beginning of the buildup. Vocal samples and pitch bends intensify the buildup, signaling that the climax is near. After the final “Revolution 909” sample, the track drops into a rhythmic electro drop.
“Revolution” is due out on September 23, 2013 via Doorn Records. The track has received early support from Hardwell, Nicky Romero, TJR, Martin Garrix, and many more, so you don’t want to miss out on this one. Enjoy the preview!
