Digitalism’s New EP ‘Lift’ Out On Kitsune
Live dance music duo Digitalism’s new EP is full of energetic indie dance madness. Featuring collaborations with such great artists as The M Machine and Steve Duda, Digitalism’s sound doesn’t stay constant from one track to the next, but each foray into the dance music world is top notch and worthy of your music library.
Lift, the leadoff track, is melodically focused with some short but catchy vocals. It drops heavily, and carries a lot of energy with it. It isn’t too imaginative, but is still a fun track as a whole. The second track, Dudalism, is my favorite of the release for its superb bass-line. There are portions of the song where it absolutely pumps through your speakers and it’s so incredibly well crafted that it instantly makes you want to dance. Finally, Electric Fist is a very experimental track that reminds me of something a modern-day Rocky Balboa would train to. It incorporates a lot of interesting waveforms, but also adds a nice melody to contrast them. It’s a great EP so definitely give it a listen
