Toolroom Anniversary Continues With Three Incredible Remixes Of Downpipe
In it’s day, Downpipe was an absolutely massive track. I remember hearing it all over in mixes, clubs, and huge festivals. It was big room progressive just as progressive was evolving and growing in popularity. As part of Toolroom’s tenth anniversary, three big names are remixing the track in very distinctly different ways. If you aren’t going to read further than this paragraph, then I’ll say it right here: buy this!
The first remix is by none other than Armin Van Buuren and he does not disappoint. The remix stays very loyal to the original track, but is absolutely huge in its own way. It isn’t so much trance as progressive house, but it drops as a great combination between the two. Adrian Hour takes the next round with a driving techno remix. The bass lines pumps through your speakers relentlessly and the layers of sound add countless energy to the track. The drop is absolutely massive and could be included in any high-energy portion of any set. Finally, newcomer to the scene Bontan has a go and turns it into a deep house masterpiece. The bass line is superbly crafted and I really enjoyed how the track drops out of the vocals with the high hat and bass line complementing each other so well. Definitely give these a listen.
