Nicky Romero & Krewella’s “Legacy” Gets Remixed
Nicky Romero & Krewella‘s smash hit “Legacy” get’s it’s own remix EP. On the EP we get remixes from Vicetone, Wildstylez, Don Diablo & Candyland. All the remixes bring something different for EDM lovers of every genre.
First off we have the Vicetone Remix. Fresh off their new original “Tremble,” they gives us a huge melody really highlighting Jahan & Yasmine’s vocals. The drop has their signature cross between progressive and electro, and it’s amazing. The duo never seems to disappoint!
Next is Wildstylez. As always, they put out a huge hardstyle remix. I’ve been getting in to hardstyle more recently and Wildstylez is among my favorite producers. The twist they put on “Legacy” is fantastic. The melody is really calm, while the drop hits so hard. It’s interesting every time an electro song gets a hardstyle remix, some are disappointing, but this isn’t one of them. Great work from Wildstylez!
Third is Don Diablo’s remix. Don Diablo had a song released on Protocol earlier this year as well. Diablo decides to add rapper Sway over his trap remix of Legacy, which is something I wouldn’t expect, but it works well. I really like how he switched the chords to eastern sounding drums. Another awesome song from Don Diablo!
Lastly, Candyland. Candyland has released some massive songs this year. They’re really getting big quickly. Look out for them on Krewella’s “Get Wet” Tour. We get their signature OG sound, and, as always, a huge remix. A really calm melody into a huge electro/trap drop. Krewella’s vocals are really prominent during the melody and fit perfectly over the buildup. As expected, amazing work!
Although there is no release information about the EP yet, it should be out sometime either late August or September. Listen to the remix previews below and enjoy!
