Kyodai’s “Music Rises Up” Out On Exploited
Kyodai’s new release features two tracks (technically one), each deep house, that are on the whole, pretty good. The tracks are both lacking in many areas though. It’s not that the tracks are poorly produced or that they don’t work musically, but the tracks lack real imagination. The energy level stays at a plateau and never really moves anywhere. That being said, it is a great track to chill and do work to as it doesn’t really pull your attention away from what you’re currently doing. It rests at a solid 122 BPM and entertains the back of your mind, but never really gets to that level of a standout track. I do also like the reverb-laden bells that occur throughout the track. It’s a really interesting sound and adds a lot of nice variety. Check it out and if it appeals to you, grab it off Beatport.
