MAKJ Unveils “Hakaka” For Diffused Music | Out August 13
American producer/DJ, MAKJ, continues to show no mercy during his 2013 musical campaign. As if playing at Ultra Music Festival Miami in March wasn’t enough, he has gone on to release on record labels like Juicy Music and Hysteria Records, and is slated for even more madness on Protocol Recordings and Revealed Recordings. The man of many labels has a new destination for his most recent single, “Hakaka”. His appearance on Michael Woods‘ Diffused Music imprint certainly won’t harm his musical performance, as his previous works have made it into the Beatport Top 20 for electro house, and have cracked the Top 100 overall.
We are used to loud, crowd-bumping bass from MAKJ, however, he shows us a more refined sound with “Hakaka”. The first break begins with subtle chord play, which leads into eight dubstep-infused breakdown. The melody begins to loop, and a marathon 30 seconds of buildup begins. As the climax of the track approaches, we reach some relative quiet, for a vocal sample, but we are soon thrown headfirst into an electro whirlwind.
“Hakaka” will bounce into weeks, on August 13, via Diffused Music. Until then, crank up this preview!
