Dannic Brings The Heat With “Ignite”
The man behind big hits like “Clobber” and “Viper” is back with another club banger. Dannic, who is a member of the Revealed family, makes his return to Mark Knight‘s Toolroom Records label with “Ignite”. This release will be his second on Toolroom, as he released “Clobber” through this label back in 2012. So far, 2013 has been a productive year for the young Dutch mastermind. His first single of the year, “Viper,” was premiered by Revealed label boss, Hardwell, during his record-breaking set at UMF Miami this year. He now has two tracks upcoming, on 2 different labels. “Rocker” is due out as part of Hardwell’s “Revealed Vol. 4” compilation, and now “Ignite”.
Dannic returns to his previously successful formula for a hit on Toolroom, as this track features similar hallmarks to “Clobber”. A heavy bass kick together with an equally strong bassline are melded perfectly alongside a strong set of synths and other percussion elements. While the big room sound is still intact, Dannic adds certain samples and sounds to give the track a stronger electro vibe. the middle section of the track features a very emotional, and string-like section of chords. The percussion signature underneath these chords is very similar to that of the chorus of Hardwell‘s “Apollo”. But don’t let that distract you for too long, as the track will suddenly build once again, and drop you into the realm of big room madness.
This new tune will see its release as a Beatport exclusive on July 3. Expect to hear a lot of it before then however, as this track will definitely garner the support of fellow DJs.
