Nicky Romero + Krewella Collide In “Legacy”

After various teases and live previews, Nicky Romero & Krewella have finally unveiled the teaser to their collaboration, titled “Legacy”. The track received its first play during Nicky‘s set on the Worldwide Stage at UMF Miami, and also by Krewella during their set. Nicky is fresh off the release off the releases of the remixes to his single, “Symphonica”, while the trio that is Krewella recently released the Hardwell remix to their hit, “Alive”.

The melody and chord progression sounds very similar to that of  Michael Calfan‘s “Resurrection,” and the listener is very quickly surrounded by Krewella’s vocals. As the track builds, the track changes to feature a more gritty, and electro-like sound. These producers clearly all contributed to the creation of the drop, as elements from Nicky‘s “Symphonica,” are audible alongside the hardcore-influenced sounds of Krewella.
