RECAP: SevenEleven Birthday Bash 14-06-2013
General Information
SevenEleven is becoming a well-known concept in Hilversum, The Netherlands. The party’s, organised by the Mightyfools and given in De Vorstin, are always sold out and they always have a big lineup. This particular edition however, might be the biggest of them all. Both Jelle and Andy were celebrating their birthday within two weeks, making this a perfect opportunity for a birthday bash.
Line Up
A birthday party must be a special party, with a fitting line up. When you take a look at names like Firebeatz, Joeysuki, Dem Slackers and of course the hosts Mightyfools, you know it’s gonna be alright. Firebeatz, Joeysuki & Dem Slackers played for half an hour, Mightyfools for an hour.
The sets were of high quality and the amazing tunes flew around. For example, Joeysuki played Marco V’s banger “Hypergenic Supersonic Futuristic Monophonic”, making the people go mad, his set was full of banging tunes, just like we’re used to from him. Another one of the highlights was Mightyfools playing their “Footrocker”. Not only the crowd couldn’t stop moving, the people on the stage were partying as well. Dem Slackers played his own amazing tunes, full of power, that made people jump instantly. Firebeatz provided the excellent finisher with some heavy Electro House and a killing mashup of “Smells Like Teen Spirit”.
The Audience
Every time SevenEleven comes to Hilversum, you know it will be a good party. The atmosphere was great and people were having a good time. It even lead to some mosh pits straight for the turntable. There were zero incidents and the place was packed until the end. It made the party even better, not only for the visitors, but also for the dj’s and organisation.
Conclusion
It’s hard to find a negative thing about this party, since it wouldn’t suit to the night. With a great lineup, a good atmosphere and everyone going mad, you can say it’s nothing less than successful. The Mightyfools prove once again that they’re not only very skillful at producing and dj’ing, but also at hosting big party’s. We’d like to thank Mightyfools, as well as the Vorstin for having us! How better can we and this article than with Mightyfools’ banger “Footrocker”!
