Robby East & Erol Montez Come Together For “Purple”
In today’s music industry, the strongest labels often are able to find new talent, and have them published very soon after. The conglomerate of Be Yourself Music (specifically Big & Dirty) have shown an extreme amount of dedication to the pursuit of strong musical talents. Robby East & Erol Montez are two young, strong producers out of the Netherlands. Robby most recently released “Reverie,” a collaboration with Massivebeatz, while Erol is fresh off “Oink” with Ryan Sauvage.
“Purple” is built off an intricate union of chords, which builds into a melody melded with a nice matching bassline. The electro buildup is one of the best I’ve heard in a while, as it is able to emphasize the massive energy of the track. After the “Oh My God” sample, the track drops into a percussion driven drop, with a similar sound to that of Nari & Milani. These two show they have no ceiling while creating a track that has no weak spots at all.
“Purple” is due out soon on Big & Dirty Music. Look out for a ton of new tunes this summer from these guys, and this label; they will be pumping out tunes at full blast.
