D-Wayne Unveils “Mirroar”
You can tell that the festival season is coming when producers start previewing new track after new track to provide DJs with ammo for a potent, festival-ready set. However, this man already gave us some “Ammo,” it was released on Wall Recordings just a few days ago! Fresh off this release, up-and-coming Dutch producer D-Wayne has already hit us with another preview. Making his debut on the record label, D-Wayne signed this track, “Mirroar” to CR2 Records, the label owned by London-based producer/DJ MYNC.
The introduction gives way into a rave-ready melody, and the track actually features two sections of buildup. The track drops into a wild, and grinding electro paradise, which is interrupted every few bars by the “RAGE!” sample adapted from Ralvero‘s track of the same title. The last 30 seconds of the drop serves as a change of pace for the track, by overlaying the original melody on top of the already existing bass structure. The breakdown has a very unique sound, featuring a pattern of drums, which then builds right back into the very same electro paradise that you got a taste of before.
“Mirroar” is part of CR2‘s “Ibiza 2013” compilation, which boasts tracks from the likes of Bingo Players, Hard Rock Sofa, Kryder, and many more. The 3-disc package is already available for preorder the iTunes, and is slated for full release on June 17. If you haven’t already, be sure to grab your copy of D-Wayne’s track “AMMO,” which dropped yesterday!
