AutoÉrotique & Felix Cartal’s “The Alarm” Gets The Remix Treatment
After having great success with the original, good friends and collaborators AutoÉrotique & Felix Cartal unveil the official remixes for their hit “The Alarm”. Guys like Style of Eye, Tiësto, and label boss Steve Aoki dropped it during their sets, and over time, the track received over 25 plays from big name DJ’s worldwide. This remix package features a trap mix from Keys N Krates, the already popular electro take from Charlie Darker, and a very interesting, latin-fusion take from Erick Rincon.
Track #1 on the EP is the 144 BPM trap take from Keys N Krates, a group discovered by Diplo, and signed to the Mad Decent family. Combining the wild electro with fast paced trap sounds was no easy task, but the Canadian duo did so quite well, adding the usual suspects: heavy 808’s, and loud snares.
Next up, Charlie Darker. Another mix from a Canadian-based artist, Charlie dropped an electro house spin on for his buddies. This remix got locked onto, and supported heavily by Hardwell, who supported the track over 10 times during his sets.
Lastly, Erick Rincon. I’m not really sure what to classify this song as… the track employs the bleepy sounds from the original mix, but worked in with a very uptempo and Latin-inspired beat. Tell us in the comments if you know what genre this should be called!
