Zedd Remixes Empire Of The Sun’s “Alive”

After taking over the EDM industry with his album, “Clarity,” German-born producer Zedd premieres the remix for Empire of the Sun’s track “Alive”. Zedd returns to his usual style of production for this remix, as he hits us with a large dose of grinding electro house. Zedd then introduces the vocals over a rolling series of guitar chords. Then, like magic, the mood of the song transforms from the gritty electro sounds to an extremely uplifting, alternative style chorus. The song builds, and then drops into a euphoric, guitar-influenced drop that is still uniquely Zedd’s style.

Zedd has definitely come a long way since his first release, “The Anthem” on Lazy Rich’s Big Fish Recordings. Collaborations with Nicky Romero (“Human”), and remixes for the likes of the Swedish House Mafia (“Save the World”), Zedd has definitely left an indelible mark on the dance music industry.
